Story Behind the Drawing

In the early hours of the morning, the sun sends out three hummingbirds to help prepare for the day ahead. The first hummingbird, the Grand Duke of Radiance, oversees the sun itself, making sure that its light rays are working and in tip-top shape. The second bird, the Marquis of Light, makes sure that every inch of soil and clay receives light from the sun. The third bird, the Baronet of Earth, is in charge of all living plants and creatures, checking in with them to make sure they are receiving the proper nutrition for life and growth. These three birds were created eons ago from the sun’s own rays, allowing them to travel at the speed of light to get the day’s job done.
