Sunrise Mountains

Sunrise mountains was recreated from a sunrise I saw and recorded on my way to work.  The sky was bright pink with bits of blue coming through. The mountains farthest away were light blue then got darker as they get closer.  The closest mountains to us are straw color with many oak trees dispersed.  It was beautiful.  The sunrise mountains is my first rendition of a real life event.  It was fun to create and now I want to recreate more beautiful scenes around my home. 

 This suncatcher is my version of that sunrise.  The glass on this piece has different textures and vary in translucency.  The sun is wrapped in a scalloped foil giving it it's  curvy look.  I hope you enjoy this sunrise as much as I did.
