Green Monarch Opal "Halo" Sterling Silver Necklace

This stunning necklace features an oval shaped Monarch Opal set in sterling silver. This stone exhibits gorgeous flashes of green and blue. 

Monarch Opal is a captivating lab-created opal with vibrant play-of-color similar to that of natural opals. It is composed of approximately 80% silica and 20% resin and closely resembles the physical and optical properties of natural opals. 

Unlike many natural opals which can be fragile and susceptible to cracking or drying out over time, Monarch Opal is known for its durability and stability, making it suitable for various jewelry designs. They are also considered more sustainable as the production of Monarch Opals has less impact on the environment as compared to traditional opal mining. In addition, synthetic opals like Monarch Opal provide an ethical alternative for those concerned about the ethical sourcing of gemstones.

The pendant height is 1 5/8" and the pendant width is 7/8" and the sterling silver necklace is available in two lengths, either 16" or 20". The 20" necklace has links that allow it to also be worn at 16" and 18" lengths.
