Made from slices of aspen measuring approximately 4” in diameter. A hand drawn rose burned into the wood using the ancient art of pyrography, where a burning hot metal tool is used to scorch permanent markings into the wood - a unique and timeless effect. After burning the rose, colors are added using layers of watercolors.
Your rose can be yellow hues as in the images, or, if you would prefer different colors, please just pop me a message.
Your ornament will be coated with polyurethane, a screw in loop and lovely sheer gold ribbon attached to finish. (If you’d like a different color ribbon just let me know)
I originally burned this piece for my lovely mum-in-law, whose mother was from Texas, as a little memorial piece to have in her sunroom.
The back of your ornament can be personalized with wording of your choice, name(s), date(s), small quote or message.
