Personalized Photo Memorial Candle Holder.

Totally handcrafted with love and such a precious keepsake in memory of loved ones lost.

When my brother passed away, it was unexpected and the most wrenching thing I have ever felt. I made things to provide me comfort and to hold on to him and his memory.  This tea light holder is beautiful and personal; lighting the candle is keeping the light in my heart for my brother.

The poplar wood cube is hand-cut to approximately 2.5” and sanded until lovely smooth.  A standard tea light sized hole is hand drilled into the top.

The images are reversed, printed, and transferred onto the wood using a translucent transfer medium. This process transfers the ink/toner into the wood, leaving no paper residue.  

You can either have a natural wood finish: where natural beauty of the wood remains visible, creating a uniquely organic effect.

Wording of your choice is then meticulously burned letter by letter on the remaining two sides using the ancient art of pyrography. This is where a burning hot, hand held metal tool is used to scorch permanent markings into the wood.

You can have a white 'shabby chic' painted effect - the images are transferred in the same way, along with the wording.

You can have names, dates, small quotes- anything you’d like that will fit on the block....

The ones shown read : “ me and you, you and me. Brother and sister for eternity”   

( this can be changed to suit, for example, mother and daughter, father and son.....)
