Monarch Opal is a captivating lab-created opal with vibrant play-of-color similar to that of natural opals. It is composed of approximately 80% silica and 20% resin and closely resembles the physical and optical properties of natural opals.

Unlike many natural opals which can be fragile and susceptible to cracking or drying out over time, Monarch Opal is known for its durability and stability, making it suitable for various jewelry designs. They are also considered more sustainable as the production of Monarch Opals has less impact on the environment as compared to traditional opal mining.
