Going Home

I’ve thought a lot about why I like painting skies- particularly a sky during a sunrise or sunset. I think they’re one of God’s beautiful things- and they’re a reminder to be thankful for the time we are here. Each day is a gift. This painting is what the sky looked like when I was literally driving home… but it’s also about how someday I will be home with God. I don’t know what that journey holds, but I know I am on it with Him. 

Piece comes framed. Please allow two weeks of dry time before painting ships out, as it is fresh off the easel.
